2010 28th St Metro Cruise

Back in 2004, the Grand Rapids metro area was toying with the idea of having a fifteen mile car cruise down 28th St, basically the West Michigan version of the Woodward Dream Cruise. In 2005, the event became a reality, starting with Saturday only, and growing into a Friday-Saturday event.

Last Hooters Cruise-In

We take our cruise-ins pretty seriously in Northern, IN. Here are photos from the last one of 2011 at Hooters in my hometown of Mishawaka. Sadly this was the last one ever at this location. The restaurant has since closed. Hopefully another cruise-in will be set up near-by for 2012.

2012 Grand National Roadster Show

The 2012 Grand National Roadster Show is now in its 63rd year. Once known as the Oakland Roadster Show, it is the longest running indoor car show in the world! Produced at the Fairplex in Pomona for the 9th consecutive year. The GNRS is truly the grand-daddy of them all. There were several hundred vehicles on display, including roadsters, motorcycles, muscle cars, low riders, trucks, and of course, plenty of Fords.

Nation of Stangs Winterfest Charity Car Show

The Nation of Stangs Car Club held their first ever car show Saturday Jan. 14. The show was not only just for car junkies it supported a good cause, donations were made to the local Catholic Charities and the Pregnancy Support Center. A wide variety of classic and modern Ford cars were on display at this event. It was a bright sunny day in Florida, a bit chilly but great for a car show.

I was graciously invited by Ford Motor Company to attend the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI. A handful of bloggers from around the globe were selected by Ford to witness firsthand the revealing of the brand new 2013 Ford Fusion. A special tour of the Ford World Headquarters and dinner at the Henry Ford Museum were also on the agenda.
