2011 South Bay Showdown

Not very many automotive clubs can say their car show season goes until mid December. Many folks on the east coast have prepped their vehicles for the winter hibernation months ago. Well here in Southern California, Ford and Mustang car shows go all year round. Today the Beach Cities Mustang Club held their annual South Bay Showdown hosted at the South Bay Ford dealership.

The Los Angeles Auto Show held 50 vehicle debuts since it opened Nov. 16 & 17 for press and Nov. 18-27 for the public. As a bright spot in the overall economy, the auto industry continues its momentum at the L.A. Show, highlighted by more than 22 manufacturer press conferences.

2011 SCPOC ACH Cruise

I took a cruise with CoolFords racing member Racey Stacey along with her club the SoCal Prober Owners club. This is the 2nd time I have been on this cruise. The first time the route was closed off which had been for several years. This year’s cruise was very exciting as they finally opened a 30 mile stretch of ACH. Basically, you can get up their and come back down without turning around.
