Weekly Car Show by the Lakes in Santee. Memorial Day to Labor Day on Friday nights. There are about 2 dozen cars that come out. It an enjoyable time to BBQ and enjoy the wildlife as well as friends.
The Cruisin’ Brea oldies car show and music festival, hosted by the Orange County Mustang Club and sponsored by Villa Ford, featured classic cars of every make and model. Thousands turned out to see the classic cars and hear the classic tunes! The Mustang Club was well represented and spectators got a glimpse at some true aftermarket creations as well as vintage classics restored to stock.
The Classic at Pismo Beach is one of the largest classic car and street rod shows on the West Coast and “one of the finest.” Pismo Beach, California, is the host city for this classic car show, now in its 26th year. This show, held annually on the 3rd full weekend of June, pulls in 1000 classic cars and street rods and over 125,000 spectators over three days.
Every year the Cobra Owners Club of America – Orange County chapter (COCOA-OC) puts on a Cobra extravaganza at the Park Mall near the offices of South Coast Plaza. This was CoolFords first time covering the event but it won’t be our last. A variety of Ford and Cobra enthusiasts gathered together to listen to good music and hang out and chat about cars.
The weekly Cars and Coffee car show held every Saturday morning in the Taco Bell headquarters parking lot (formerly Ford So. Cal. headquarters) had a decent sized turn out. The local Mercedes club held the feature marquee location and there was an SLR McLaren on display along side the new SLS.
The 16th Annual All Ford Show was put on by the Southern California Galaxies Club and drew nearly 100 Fords at Twila Reid Park in Anaheim. The car show benefited the Anaheim Police Survivors and Scholarship Fund and The Wounded Warriors Project. CoolFords team driver Stacey Bertran participated and entered her 1990 Ford Probe GL race car.
What makes Fabulous Fords Forever a fabulous show for Ford enthusiasts? It is one of the West Coast’s largest car shows, if not the biggest. It has a reputation as a gigantic show drawing participants and car clubs from all over.
Orange County’s local Mustang speedshop, 281Motorsports delivers once again with a full day of excitement on the eve of the southern California’s largest Ford and Mustang show – The 2011 Fabulous Fords Forever.
If you happened to attend this weekends Cars and Coffee you were definitely in for a treat. This morning featured over 100 Ford Mustangs on display courtesy of 281 Motorsports. There’s a lot of excitement building for tomorrows 2011 Fabulous Fords Forever show to be held at Knotts Berry Farm.
