It’s a very sad day for Shelby fans around the world. Carroll Hall Shelby, the Texan who created the famous Shelby Cobra and uncounted other high-performance machines that have enlivened the auto world for 50 years, died in Dallas Thursday night at age 89.
What a weekend for the Bluefire Racing Team, Catastrophe, Philanthropy and a Tribute! On a weekend that saw exciting racing and a few tugs at the heartstrings, Bluefire Racing concluded its bid for a Regional Championship last weekend (October 22, 23) in the 2011 National Auto Sports Association (NASA) American Iron series.
Brian from Bluefire Racing and his 2005 Mustang GT nicknamed “Bluefire Pony” participated in the NASA Texas American Iron/Camaro Mustang Challenge series at Texas World Speedway (TWS). Brian was gracious enough to share some photos from his race this weekend.
