We’re used to seeing Ford vehicles released in Europe or Australia that don’t ever make it to America. But this one caught us off guard when we heard Ford-owned Brazilian off road vehicle maker Troller unveiled their newest T4 model, and its not half bad.
Troller is a Brazilian manufacturer of 4x4s. Since 1995 Troller has been churning out tough, utilitarian off-roaders, some of which have taken on the Dakar rally. The Troller T4 is the first new vehicle debut from the company since Ford bought it up back in 2007.
The short wheelbased vehicle looks a bit like the love child of a Jeep Wrangler and a Land Rover Defender. It’s powered by a 3.2-liter diesel engine that sends power to all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, and it comes with chunky off-road tires as standard.
By the looks of the video below, it’s pretty handy on the rough stuff and would surely be a nice addition to the US Market.
