Jonathan Ward is the chief designer, visionary, and mad man behind ICON—the company that has made a name for itself building some of the most beautifully updated trucks in the world. Alongside Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40s and Dodge D500 pickups, Ward turned his gaze toward the venerable Ford Bronco.
And the result, as Jay Leno finds out, is stunning.
Everything about the truck was updated with custom-fabricated parts, under the guise that this is what Ford’s engineers would have wanted to build, unfettered by budget and market constraints.
And that includes a monster 5.0-liter Coyote V8 under the hood. So it not only looks good, but it’s blisteringly quick—on road or off it.
