2015 Ford F-350 XLT

Now that camping season is over, I took the camper off and winterized it. That allowed me re-install my UnderCover tonneau cover from the ’08. The air horns from the ’08, a new tank and compressor are installed and working. I also mounted a 2nd set of solar batteries in the bed for the camper. They’re connected to the camper by a 150 amp Anderson Power Pole plug… that’s about it.

About Ride

Ride Status : own

How did you acquire your ride?

I traded in my 2008 Super Duty Diesel for it at my local Ford dealership. I needed a heavier truck to carry the new Eagle Cap truck camper... the weight of the new unit was a bit too much for the F250.

What drew you to it when you bought it?

Color, GVWR and options... I "Built" my perfect truck on the Ford web site, then did a "local inventory search" and this truck came up as 95% of what I built! I got the trade-in I wanted and the price I wanted - No Brainer!

What do you feel like when you drive it?

Comfortable... after six years riding on those 37" Mud Terrain tires, this feels like riding in a luxury car.

What is your dream accessory for it and why?

A tuner - with 5 Star Tuning custom tunes and better exhaust and intake.
