Mustangs By The Bay 2011

(San Diego, CA) – Combine one awesome location and about 400+ Ford Mustangs and what do you get? It could only be the Mustangs By The Bay car show in the marina park in downtown San Diego. Ford Enthusiasts from as far away as Arizona and Mexico came together to show off their Cool rides on a perfect Southern California day.

The Mustang Club of San Diego hosts this annual car show and I have to say this was one of their biggest turnouts. There was also a decent showing of other Cool Fords including F150’s, Thunderbirds, Falcons, FordGT’s, Pantera’s and a couple AC Cobras. From new to old cars, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

I always love going to Ford car shows because just when you thought you’ve seen it all, something new appears and in this case it was a 2010 GT500 with Superman graphics. A complete Superman vs. Lex Luther comic sequence was airbrushed under the hood, if you’re a Superman and Mustang fan you would be in your glory.

A couple other special highlights included the very first Pre-Production hard top 1964 Mustang.
