(Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA) – The sweltering August heat couldn’t keep forty-seven die-hard Ford fans from participating in Cherokee Ford of Alpharetta’s Show-And-Shine on Saturday. There’s nothing like helping a new dealership celebrate its Grand Opening, and the Georgia Regional Mustang Club was all too willing to lend a hand.
We had a fantastic range of cars from a pair of Deuce Coupes to a 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca. Even a local Marauder Club participated with ten of their cars. Other entrants also included a brand new pace car, a smattering of Saleens, a fresh-off-the-lot Shelby 350, and a couple of Roushes.
Top Ten Awards, as well as two Dealer Awards, were given out to a nice 1967 and, of course, the Laguna Seca. Hot as it was, we had a great turn-out, and we are looking forward to having another event there in the future. The GRMC would like to thank Cherokee Ford of Alpharetta for hosting us and Fitzpatrick Advertising for promoting the show. Great job everyone!
